Rebels Netball Club was founded 35 years ago in 1982, with Lorraine O’Brien as its first President. Rebels operates at the Noranda Netball Association in Perth, Western Australia, and accepts players from NetSetGO to Junior and Senior grades.
“To be dynamic, innovative and responsive to our membership and use sound management practices.
To promote, organise and develop netball for all members and to ensure they have equal opportunity to play socially or at the highest competitive level.
The Rebels Netball Club is recognised for promoting good sportsmanship for all.
To provide netball participation and opportunities at all levels for our members and will strive for on-court success and utilising sound management practices whilst still being readily accessible to all persons interested in being involved with the sport.
To provide a contribution to the health of the Community.”
Rebels is dedicated to developing the skills and abilities of not only our players, but our umpires and coaches as well. We want to provide our members with the skills they need to be able to reach their full potential, and to achieve their wildest dreams. With the announcement of the new Australian National Netball League, netballers are now the highest paid female athletes in Australia, meaning the sky’s the limit.
